Specializing in a wide variety of styles, Play Ball! is in the business of making and recording music. In the last ten years we've produced over one hundred albums in a variety of musical styles. We've also been involved in musical theater, television, movie and commercial advertising soundtracks.

One of our more well known projects is the "Pickin' On" series of albums produced by Play Ball! and released worldwide by C.M.H. Records (Los Angeles). This series celebrates some of the most popular and best loved rock and pop music by offering up inspired and beautifully crafted versions featuring banjos, mandolins, fiddles and many other instruments that represent various north American regional styles of music. Its main focus is fun listening with an accent on "hot licks."

In addition, many fine songwriters have chosen Play Ball's Studio "Z" as a place to record their albums so they could take advantage our incredible "all in" studio rate. For an amazingly low hourly rate the client receives not only a great sounding studio featuring a blend of tube and digital technology, new and vintage microphones, and an engineer, but also in house musicians to help out if you might happen to need acoustic or electric guitars, up-right or electric bass, percussion, mandolin, banjo or even hammered-dulcimer! We also have a close working relationship with many of the best studio sidemen in the business.
